Dan Really Built This
I've been told that DARs (and the FSDO when you go to apply for the Repairman's Certificate) like to see photos of the builder actually working on the plane. Apparently this is even more important than all the other photos of all the doodads along the way. This helps prove that you really did perform the required 51%. So here I've compiled a collection of photos of me (usually looking goofy), but photos of me working on the plane. Surprisingly I don't have that many photos of myself. Out of more than 5000 photos, only a small handful were taken of me (99.9% of the time it was me taking the photo). Trust me, I built this thing. I've been on at least one end (if not both ends) of every friggin' rivet and fastener on this whole plane.

December 8, 2003 - Installing the canopy
December 8, 2003 - Looking dorky while drilling canopy side screw holes
December 20, 2003 - Installed the wings permanently
February 13, 2004 - Applying micro filler to the canopy
February 19, 2004 - Installing ELT batteries
So there you have it...if this isn't proof that I built the plane, hey, at least it shows I was involved. And if you don't believe me that it's all me, screw you, you bastard. These 1900+ hours on this project are mine...ALL MINE!!!
