Today I had a bunch of real work to do, but hey...it helps when you're working 10 feet from your airplane. I ran out of GBP-988 primer yesterday, and on the way to the hangar I picked up a few more cans today. So the rudder is ready for installation. It's not as smooth as the elevator/HS/VS tips, but it's "ready for flight," as I've been saying. I'll probably work on this a little more before painting.

Fuzzy photo, but the plane now has tail numbers.

I installed the rudder. The trickiest part about it is getting the washer and nut on each hinge bolt without dropping 'em. No big deal. Here I'm using .040 safety wire to fish the electrical connectors out of the rudder fairing.

The tail light assembly is installed. I'm very impressed with this Whelen Comet Flash setup. The position light is incredibly bright, and the flicker-as-it-fires strobe is awesome.

My camera batteries died right after this last photo, but I rigged and installed the Rocket Steering Link and worked a bit more on the wing tips. More photos tomorrow.
